Printing Inks for Baby and Toddler Products

Printing of Baby Articles such as Toys, Drink Bottles, and Soothers

Toys, baby products, and medical accessories are examples of items with heightened product safety needs. It is vital to ensure the substrate itself and the printing inks are free from substances that could be harmful.

Pad Printing Inks for Sensitive Applications

TampaTex TPX was originally designed for textile printing, and is also well up at the front at a great number of further substrates. A main application is printing onto baby bottles, drinking cups, soothers, and teething rings. Renowned European manufacturers of baby products use Marabu inks for these sensitive applications.

Especially polypropylene and TritanTM are substrates which are used for baby bottles and soothers. There are very strict guidelines for these applications: Ingredients such as hazardous heavy metals, PAH, phthalates, and BPA, to name only the most important, are an absolute exclusion criterion.
